How to Customize Notifications Center on iOS 7

The Notification Center on iOS is a panel that keeps track of all incoming notifications, so as to allow easy access to the user. Introduced with iOS 5, this panel has been completely redesigned with iOS 7 and now we explain how to make the most of all its functions. Today, we want to telling you about how to customize it to the fullest and take advantage of its functionality.

Main settings - The first thing to do is keep in mind the important settings, then from your iPhone, go into settings and tapped on Notification Center, after which scroll down. From this menu, you can enable and disable various options such as screen lock screen, the Day view, and so on saying. For those who do not know, the item allows to know the weather forecast and the display of notes and anything else that today is the day of the future.

Below, we manage the Day view. The day view is a feature introduced with iOS 's Notification Center and 7 that displays the commitments of the day, those for tomorrow, weather forecasts and other advice based on the number of events that we have in Calendar. From Settings, we can decide whether or not to display the screen in the summary of today ( all the commitments in the program), the day view calendar (list of commitments with Calendar view ), reminders ( reminder list on a daily interval ), the Stock Exchange and the summary of the day tomorrow, with commitments thereunder.

The new notification center, it also allows you to enable or disable various options for each individual application. Style note however, you can decide how to view the notifications of an application. You can choose from None, Banner or Pop- up at the center of the display. In other words, when an SMS, you have the ability to view a preview of the text at the top as a banner or a pop-up panel. Another interesting feature concerns the application icon badge, which also allows to select the type of sound notification.
A center immense and detailed notifications

The new notification center, designed by Apple, contains a long series of very interesting features, all customized to the user's taste. The most interesting thing is the possibility to enable or disable individual notifications and apply different sounds to each of them. For example, you can disable email notifications but keep active those relating to SMS and vice versa, or apply a sound for receiving SMS messages and one for email, in short, with the new notifications center, the possibilities are endless.

Further down we can decide whether to order the notifications manually, moving them to our liking, or in chronological order, displaying the most recent at the top. Finally, under the heading Include, we have a list of native apps and all installed apps that can access the notification center. For each app can enable or disable some features.

Style note we can decide how to display notifications that particular app: selecting None, not 'll display any notification screen, select Banner, we will display a notification with a banner at the top; selecting Alerts, however, we will display a pop-up to center of the display. All notifications will automatically disappear, but with iOS 7 we have the ability to make a swipe upward to hide notified instantly via Banner.

From the same screen can then choose whether to display the icon of the app badge (hence the classic red dot on the icon of the app, with the number of notifications to be read), or select the type of sound for the notification of that app. Further down we can decide whether to display alerts in Notification Center. If we choose to not, after the appearance of the banner or pop-up we will see more such notification. If, however, we activate the display in the Notification Center, then the notifications will also be saved on this screen, and we will delete them manually by clicking on the "x ". In addition to this possibility, the user can also decide to see how many notifications in the Notifications Center for each app, from a minimum of 1 to a maximum of 10 elements.

Finally, we can decide whether or not to display notifications of each app also in the unlock screen. It's clear that if we keep to the Privacy would be better to avoid the notifications of messages and e- mails in the unlock screen, or even on the Home screen. For the Messages app can choose whether to display a preview of the message. Disabling this item, the notification will show only the sender of the message, while also enabling it 'll display the message. Messages from the app you can also decide whether or not to repeat alerts and how many times.

This function is useful if you do not display immediately received a message and then want to have an alarm that reminds us of the failure to read the notification. The settings can also choose how many times to repeat this warning (0 to 10). The audio alert is repeated every 2 minutes. Finally, still in the Messages app, we can choose whether to show all alerts or only those of our contacts (in the second case, we will show you notifications of messages from numbers that we have not stored).

Mail Notification of the app can be handled the same way as the generic ones, with the possibility of organizing them individually for each account.

Finally, for each individual app displays the same settings: we can decide whether to display the notifications, and display, even if you view them in the unlock screen and if you see the previews. We can choose the types of sounds and also whether to repeat the alarm to sound for some app. In short, the Notifications Center offers so many features!
